Global Security and Compliance Director

Innodata is seeking an Senior Manager role to support our global information security strategy and compliance posture. This role will work closely with the CISO to strengthen governance, ensure regulatory compliance, enhance awareness, and align cybersecurity with business objectives across our global operations.

What You’ll Do

Drive information security governance and maintain compliance with global standards (ISO 27001 : 2022, SOC 1 & 2, SOX, ISO 42001, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, etc.).

Lead risk management initiatives, real-time compliance monitoring, and dashboard reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—IT, HR, Legal, Operations—to align security with business goals.

Engage with clients and stakeholders on RFPs, assessments, and audits.

Lead security awareness programs and foster a strong security culture.

Stay ahead of emerging threats, frameworks, and best practices in cybersecurity.

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of experience in information security, with 2+ years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of security frameworks (ISO, NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR, HIPAA).

Hands-on experience with GRC tools, risk management, and compliance operations.

Preferred certifications : CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 LA / LI, CEH, CCSK .

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical risks into business language.

Knowledge of cloud, AI / ML security , and zero trust principles is a plus.
