About the Company We are building a new AI-native engineering team that leverages Vibe Coding, a cutting-edge development workflow infused with AI agent pair programming (e.G., Claude Code, Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, CodeRabbit AI, Claude Desktop). About the Role As a Backend Engineer, you’ll work across modern frameworks, scalable Python microservices, and collaborate with architect to co-create intelligent, high-performing digital experiences. Responsibilities Build scalable applications using Python-based backend (FastAPI) Develop and maintain microservices with scalable, event-driven architecture Work with AI coding agents (e.G., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor AI, CodeRabbit AI) to accelerate development, testing, and refactoring workflows Integrate robust APIs (REST & GraphQL) and optimize system performance using caching, database indexing, and asynchronous processing (e.G., Celery, RabbitMQ) Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS (ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda) Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement processes Work closely with data teams to support lightweight ML model integration using tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or HuggingFace Transformers Qualifications 5-7 years of strong hands-on software development experience in building large scale distributed applications Required Skills Proficient in Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask Solid understanding of microservices architecture, messaging queues (RabbitMQ / Kafka), and orchestration using Docker / Kubernetes Experience with AI development tools and pair programming agents like Claude, Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or CodeRabbit AI Good knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases (e.G., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms Exposure to ML workflows, ETL pipelines, Airflow, model inference, API integrations Experience in agile teams and rapid prototyping Exposure to AI / ML workflows or building products that integrate AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) Preferred Skills An entrepreneurial / resourceful resource that is capable of working under ambiguity Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Passion for clean code, automation, and scaling systems Comfortable in a fast-paced, AI-first development environment Experience Level : 5-7 Years Location : Remote
