Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute the IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation goals.
- Lead the strategy for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure modernization.
- Manage budgeting, vendor relationships, technology procurement, and cost optimization.
- Drive innovation in IT operations through automation, standardization, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, networks, and data centers.
- Ensure 24x7 uptime, scalability, and performance of critical IT systems and services.
- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain service excellence.
- Drive capacity planning, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery strategy.
- Lead the cloud strategy (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including migration, governance, and cost control.
- Manage hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration and workload optimization.
- Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, etc.) and related infrastructure.
- Oversee LAN / WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall, proxy, and perimeter security architecture.
- Implement robust identity and access management (IAM) and Zero Trust security models.
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.
- Lead the End User Services team managing devices, collaboration tools (MS Teams, Webex, Zoom), and enterprise mobility.
- Oversee Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Azure AD administration.
- Ensure user satisfaction, system reliability, and IT service desk efficiency.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal and external IT controls.
- Implement service delivery KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement plans.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional IT infrastructure teams across regions.
- Manage strategic vendor partnerships, contracts, and performance reviews.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT function.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelors / Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.Proven expertise in :1. Cloud Platforms : Azure, AWS, or GCP
2. Networking & Security : Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VPN, Proxy
3. Systems & Virtualization : Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V
4. Collaboration & Identity : M365, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access
5. Automation & Monitoring : PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, SolarWinds, ServiceNow
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance frameworks.Experience in managing large-scale IT transformations and multi-location infrastructure.Excellent leadership, communication, vendor negotiation, and project management skills(ref : hirist.tech)
