Company Description TAARK ELECTRIC VEHICLES & EQUIPMENTS PVT LTD is a leading manufacturer of battery-operated electric vehicles designed for in-campus material transportation and on-road commercial applications .

Our vehicles serve a wide range of industries including brick manufacturing, textiles, bleaching, fireworks, cement, agro products, poultry, farms , and more.

We also produce the L5 on-road commercial electric vehicle – TAARK_GLADIA .

Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced manufacturing professional to lead and strengthen our operations, materials, inventory, and quality systems at our Coimbatore (Kinathukadavu) plant .

The ideal candidate will bring strong process orientation, people management skills, and experience in automotive or EV manufacturing environments , with a focus on Lean systems and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead Production, Materials, Inventory, and Quality Assurance functions.

Plan and execute daily operations to achieve production output, quality, and cost targets.

Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for customer complaints and field failures.

Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing, 5S, and process standardization (SOPs) .

Establish and monitor line assembly processes, work discipline, and productivity improvement programs.

Ensure ISO 9001 system compliance and readiness for audits.

Collaborate with Purchase, Service, and Design teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Develop and train teams for process ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualification & Experience BE / B.Tech – Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.

14–18 years of experience in automotive / EV / industrial vehicle manufacturing.

Proven track record in manufacturing operations, quality systems, and team leadership.

Strong analytical, communication, and people management skills.

Languages : Tamil & English are a must. (Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.)
