Requirements

Job Purpose :

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for both manual and automation testing to identify and resolve issues during pre- and post-application releases. This role involves ensuring high-quality implementations that align with business requirements and expectations, while also leading a team of testers. As our applications are used by both internal stakeholders and clients, strong communication and client service skills are essential, along with the ability to consistently deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The selected candidate will also receive training on current and next-generation tools.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop subject matter expertise in assigned domains, including application functionality, testing types, and business processes.

Review requirements for accuracy and completeness.

Collaborate with QA leads to design and plan test scenarios.

Create and execute test cases, logging and tracking defects.

Drive best practices for quality, security, and testing excellence within the team.

Conduct various types of testing, including :

Functional

Smoke and Regression

Non-functional (usability, accessibility, performance)

Troubleshoot defects, support retesting, and validate fixes.

Document and analyze test results.

Generate metrics and actionable insights using tools such as MS Excel.

Education / Background :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent qualification.

Key Skills : Must Have :

1–2 years of software testing experience.

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (preferably with SAFe / Agile).

Hands-on experience with testing methodologies.

Proficiency in test management tools, ideally Azure DevOps (ADO).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

Strong ability to collaborate and quickly integrate into existing teams.

Good to Have :

Quality Assurance certifications (e.g., ISTQB).

Experience with automation scripting using TOSCA or similar low-code tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to build professional relationships, foster teamwork, and adapt to changing priorities.

Advanced analytical, problem-solving, research, and presentation skills.
