Senior Frontend Developer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented and dynamic senior front-end developer with expertise in React and Magento to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating seamless, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for building and enhancing the front-end components of our websites and applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities :

React Development :

Build, test, and maintain scalable and reusable components using React.

Develop responsive web applications with a focus on performance, optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into the React applications.

Work closely with designers and back-end developers to implement UI / UX designs into functional React components.

Use modern front-end technologies and libraries (e.g., React hooks, Redux) to create rich, interactive user experiences.

Magento Front-End Development :

Customize Magento 2 themes and templates based on design specifications.

Implement and maintain front-end functionality for Magento-based e-commerce websites.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Magento websites for speed, performance, and SEO.

Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and Magento back-end systems.

Support Magento extension development and integration where needed.

Collaboration and Communication :

Collaborate with design teams to ensure the design vision is executed accurately across devices and browsers.

Work with product managers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between front-end components and back-end systems.

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.

Continuous Improvement :

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development, React, and Magento.

Proactively suggest improvements to enhance the user experience and performance of front-end applications.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

Minimum 5-6 years of professional experience in front-end development.

Strong experience with React.js, including hooks, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Proficiency in front-end technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.

Solid experience in Magento 2 theme development and customization.

Familiarity with Magento architecture, including template files, layout XML, and Magento’s front-end framework.

Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

Experience with version control tools, such as Git.

Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.

Familiarity with UI / UX best practices.

Skills :

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work in an Agile environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A keen eye for detail and design.

Preferred :

Experience with TypeScript in React development.

Knowledge of Magento 2 PWA (Progressive Web App) and GraphQL.

Experience with integrating third-party APIs (payment gateways, analytics, etc.) into Magento and React applications.

Familiarity with Node.js, Webpack, and Babel for building front-end applications.
