Technician

Responsibilities :

• Cardiology Testing : Conduct electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic equipment
• Patient Care : Ensure cardiology patients are comfortable and address any questions regarding tests
• Result Recording : Record test results and consult with physicians to schedule follow-up tests
• Assistance in Procedures : Monitor patients' heart rates during non-invasive procedures and alert physicians of abnormal readings
• Equipment Maintenance : Maintain cardiological equipment and supplies through daily cleaning and adjustments
• Inventory Management : Record supply inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
• Troubleshooting : Identify and report malfunctions in cardiological equipment
• Professional Development : Stay updated on cardiology developments through conferences and research participation
