Position Overview
We are seeking Structural Engineers – Computational Designers (0–7 years of experience) to join our expanding CDT – Digital Practice team in India.
This position suits digitally driven structural engineers passionate about using computation, parametric modeling, and automation to redefine how structures are designed, optimized, and delivered in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply parametric, generative, and data-driven design workflows to support structural design and analysis.
- Integrate computational methods with structural engineering platforms (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Robot, STAAD.Pro) and BIM environments.
- Automate analytical processes and documentation through scripting (Python, C#, Grasshopper, Dynamo).
- Collaborate closely with architectural, civil, and MEP teams to deliver coordinated and optimized design solutions.
- Research and implement emerging computational tools for advanced structural modeling, performance simulation, and design optimization.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and workflow standardization within multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred).0–7 years of experience in structural design and analysis using computational and digital tools.Proficiency in Rhino / Grasshopper, Revit / Dynamo, and scripting (Python, C#, or equivalent).Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, Robot, or SAFE.Understanding of structural behavior, design codes, and multidisciplinary coordination.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.Why Join Us
