Job Title : Assistant Conservator

Project Duration : 6 Months (Full-time)

Location : Pune (Preference given to Pune-based candidates)

About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Conservator to join our team for a six-month project focused on the documentation and conservation of the museum collection. The selected candidate will support the conservation department in ensuring long-term care, preservation and structured documentation of museum objects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the conservation and preventive care of the museum collection.
• Undertake systematic documentation including condition reports, measurements and photographic records.
• Support treatment procedures under the guidance of the Conservator.
• Monitor environmental conditions and implement conservation protocols.
• Maintain conservation supplies, tools and laboratory space.
• Troubleshoot challenges with a solution-oriented approach.
• Work collaboratively to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
