Delivery Head role in service consulting role specifically in Insurance ( P&C areas)
Prerequisites
1- Strong expereince in coding / technical architecture / design in current or previous / early years a must

5) P&L mgmt - should be managing above 40millon +
6) Onsite exp in U.S or U.K insurance market for Insurance P&C product ( PREFERRED IN SPECIALITY AND COMMERCIAL LINES)

9) Open to relocate to the corporate office in GURGOAN.

About the Opportunity :
The opportunity is to lead and assist in development, maintenance of Client and Custom Applications and contribute to technology and digital solutions across P&C industry segment with a focus on Specialty and Commercial Lines insurance value chain.
The role is in Technology & Digital domain and focuses on developing and delivering IT Technology services for multiple clients across the globe, with a special focus on the UK and Europe markets. Prior work experience in the Lloyd’s market is a plus. The opportunity will involve identifying, managing, governing and solutioning digital initiatives, application development, application and infrastructure maintenance, and using technology to transform insurance business process.
The individual will be responsible for growing and delivering a broad array of technology services to existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Leadership and Portfolio Management
Oversee all strategic product and platform build efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
Manage a diverse and dynamic portfolio across Strategic Accounts
Develop and execute a clear technology strategy to deliver scalable, innovative, and value-driven solutions to our client-facing teams.
Track and optimize delivery metrics, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Capability Development and Management
Lead, mentor, and manage senior leaders across sub teams.
Drive organizational structure, performance management, and career growth for individuals within the teams.
Build and maintain effective collaboration across client-facing, internal, and cross-functional teams.
3. Communities of Practice
Establish and nurture communities of practice (guilds) around core skill areas including business and technical analysis, engineering, and quality management.
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, technical innovation, and best practice adoption across teams.
Champion learning, upskilling, and continuous improvement to strengthen CLIENTs technical capabilities.
4. Technical Excellence
Oversee and provide guidance on the development and maintenance of :
Strategic Accounts : Delivering robust technology solutions for large-scale, key accounts.
Platform Team : Building and scaling bespoke insurance platforms.
Delivery Methodology Team : Creating and streamlining tools / processes that enable successful delivery of technology builds.
5. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership for all technology initiatives.
Work with client-facing ADM and AMS teams to identify client product needs and product gaps.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.
Work with peers to define and refine strategic offerings and support sales.
What you’ll be doing :
The key responsibilities are as follows :
Own operational metrics around Client Satisfaction, People and Financials
Develop POVs and proactive propositions for Quarterly and Monthly client governance
Govern multiple technology projects, both greenfield and otherwise
Govern and Track staffing and fulfilment for one large or multiple smaller client engagements
Govern and Track visa readiness for one large or multiple smaller client engagements
Hire new recruits from the open market via personal Referrals
Run Managed Services engagement in an end-to-end fashion, across both Applications and Infrastructure domains
Plan for managing Quality, Cost and Schedule parameters for large programs and projects
Implement effective release and configuration management processes
Support business development with Demos, POVs, POCs
Assist and guide the team in defining technology architectures, participate in client driven ARBs
Own financial metrics related to revenue growth and profitability
Define annual budget for the relevant sub-domain or business unit region
Plan, manage and control staff attrition levels
Manage and run SDLC Audits, Security Audits, Assessments and 3rd party Certifications, which can be client driven, or by an independent entity or in-house
Evaluate 3rd party tools and platforms related to P&C insurance and for SDLC purposes
Assess risks and plan to mitigate them
Must Have :
B.Tech. / B.E. or M.Tech. / M.E. from a recognized institute
Prior hands-on work experience in IT services across Application Engineering and Infrastructure
Minimum 25 years of experience in IT services
At least 2-3 years of Onsite work experience in UK / Europe / ANZ / Singapore markets
At least 12 years of experience working for Insurance clients, preferably P&C Specialty or Large Commercial lines, Life Insurance experience also counts
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Have a broad understanding of UK / Europe / ANZ immigration norms and general guidelines
Have a good working knowledge of one out of the Azure and AWS Cloud platforms
Understand Agile development methodologies well
A track record of leading successful client delivery engagements
Nice to Have :
P&C core platform knowledge (e.g. Guidewire, Duck Creek, DXC, Majesco, Sapiens, Insurity etc.)
Should have managed both small and large-sized delivery teams
