Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Horticultural Assistant located in Mumbai. The Horticultural Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the design and maintenance of indoor plant setups, plant health assessments, watering, pruning, and pest control. The role involves collaborating with clients to provide personalized plant care and green consultations tailored to their needs. Additional responsibilities include supporting the installation of vertical gardens and terrariums for residential and commercial spaces, maintaining records of plant care schedules, and ensuring sustainability in all practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plant care, pruning, pest control, and maintenance
• Hands-on experience with designing indoor plant setups and vertical gardens
• Strong communication and customer service skills to provide effective green consultations
• Ability to assess plant health and recommend suitable greenery for various conditions
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail in designing green spaces
• Familiarity with sustainable gardening techniques and eco-friendly practices
• Physical ability to lift and carry gardening tools and pots, and work in different indoor and outdoor environments
• Prior experience or training in horticulture, botany, or landscaping is a plus
