Head of Information Technology

IT Head will provide executive leadership by formulating and executing the organization&aposs technology strategy to align with business goals. This role oversees all IT operations, infrastructure, digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity policies, and ensures compliance with industry standards, driving continual improvement and innovation in the IT function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies that directly support and advance organizational objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including recruiting, training, and performance management.
• Oversee the planning, deployment, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure (networks, systems, storage, and cloud environments).
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with data protection regulations, establishing policies for data security and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with senior management and department heads to assess technology needs and optimize digital operations.
• Manage IT budgets and contracts, ensuring cost-effective vendor relationships and resource allocation.
• Evaluate and implement new / emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity of critical technology functions.
• Lead and coordinate ISO audits (e.g., ISO 27001 / 9001 / 45001), ensuring compliance with international standards. Oversee audit preparation, conduct gap analysis, report findings, and drive corrective actions for certification and continuous improvement.
