Job Title : Assistant Professor

Location : Ganpat University, Gujarat

Department : GUNI - National Additive Manufacturing Centre West

Position Type : Full-Time

Job Summary : We are seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our dynamic team at the Centre of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing (CoE-AM). The Assistant Professor will play a key role in delivering high-impact training, academic programs, and research initiatives in Additive Manufacturing across various states of India, as per the CoE-AM project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in the domain of Additive Manufacturing and allied fields.
  • Deliver hands-on training and workshops across different states as per the training roadmap of the CoE-AM.
  • Develop and update curriculum content related to Additive Manufacturing, CAD / CAM, 3D Printing technologies, and Industry 4.0.
  • Guide student projects, internships, and research activities.
  • Collaborate with industry, government bodies, and academic partners for knowledge transfer and outreach activities.
  • Participate in CoE-AM initiatives such as establishing training modules, course content development, and representing the institution at state-level / national-level AM events and training sessions.
  • Contribute to funded research and consultancy projects in the field of Additive Manufacturing.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification : First Class ME / MTech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Desirable Qualifications / Experience : Prior exposure to Additive Manufacturing technologies (FDM, SLS, WAAM, etc.).
  • Experience in conducting training programs / workshops for students or industry professionals.
  • Research publications or project work in AM or related domains.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct training programs in various states under the CoE-AM initiative.
