Job Title : Assistant Manager – Accounts

Location : Kolkata

Experience : 5 to 10 Years

Qualification : B.Com / M.Com (Accounts / Finance specialization preferred)

Salary : ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 (Net Take Home per Month)

Age Criteria : 25 to 32 Years

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain and update daily accounting records using Tally ERP.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial statements, and MIS reports.

Manage invoicing, payments, accounts receivables, and accounts payables.

Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, TDS returns, and other statutory

compliances.

Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Coordinate with internal departments to identify and reconcile accounting

discrepancies.

Support both internal and external audits with appropriate documentation.

Ensure timely and systematic bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.

Maintain comprehensive documentation and support the improvement of financial

processes.

Communicate effectively with clients and vendors on financial matters.

Uphold data accuracy, financial integrity, and confidentiality at all times.

Key Skills & Competencies :

Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP,

etc.)

Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and applicable Indian accounting standards.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

High level of attention to detail and organizational capability.

Basic understanding of audit procedures is preferred.

Candidate Profile :

Educational Background : B.Com / M.Com (Accounts or Finance specialization

preferred)

Work Experience : 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance

Age Criteria : 25 to 32 years

Personal Attributes : Self-motivated, responsible, detail-focused, and committed to

financial accuracy with a proactive and self-starter approach
