We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with expertise in circuit design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for schematic capture, component creation, and circuit layout for various printed circuit boards. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of design for manufacturing principles to ensure cost-effective and high-quality circuit designs.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Perform schematic capture and component creation primarily using an ECAD tool, specifically Altium .
- Analyze mixed analog / digital schematics for functional tolerances, power dissipation, deratings, and other critical parameters.
- Execute circuit layout for PC boards, polyimide flex, and PET silver printed circuits .
- Thoroughly document PCBs for fabrication in accordance with company standards.
- Contribute to component library development for both schematic symbols and component footprints.
- Search for new components and alternate components to meet design requirements and optimize costs.
- Possess strong written and verbal English skills , with the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Regularly communicate progress and updates to remote team members.
- Apply principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to all circuit designs.
- Conform to all Company standards and procedures throughout the design process.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills Required :
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Knowledge of factors for cost-effective circuit design , including substrate materials, surface finishes, and panel array considerations.Strong basic electrical circuit analysis skills .Preferred Skills :
Experience using Altium for schematic and PCB design.Experience designing flexible circuits with polyimide and PET substrates .Experience with designing electrodes .Skills Required
