• 12+ years in data governance, enterprise data management, or related fields.
• Proven track record implementing data governance programs in medium to large enterprises.
• Strong understanding of data quality, MDM, data privacy, metadata, and lineage.
• Hands-on experience with governance tools (Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or Purview).
• Experience with data management technologies such as Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Redshift, or BigQuery is preferred.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement Certifications :
• DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
• Collibra Ranger or Alation Steward certification
• CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) Responsibilities :
• Lead and implement data governance initiatives to improve data quality, master data management (MDM), data privacy, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data policies, standards, and best practices.
• Manage and optimize data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or Microsoft Purview.
• Support data management and governance across various platforms including Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and training to promote data governance awareness and adoption across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data governance processes and policies.
