Role Description – Mechanical CAD & URDF Intern

• Create precise 3D CAD models of the medical imaging setup (enclosure cube, surgical NIR lamp, camera, mounts, and basic lab desk) using SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Siemens NX .
• Build full assemblies with correct constraints, joint types, and degrees of freedom (camera + NIR lamp integrated into the top face of the cube ).
• Define coordinate systems and joint limits suitable for robotics applications.
• Export clean STEP models and help generate a URDF / Xacro-ready structure for use in ROS / robot simulation.
• Iterate on design based on dimensions, feedback, and engineering requirements.
