About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead Recruiter to manage and mentor our high-performing talent acquisition team in India. This is a critical leadership role where you will not only manage a set of complex requisitions yourself but also set the strategic direction, optimize processes, and ensure delivery excellence for all hiring efforts across our India operations.
This is a full-time managerial position based in Gurugram, Haryana.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Leadership & Strategy
- Team Management : Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 10-20 recruiters, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth objectives across various functions (Tech, G&A, Sales, etc.).
- Process Optimization : Identify and implement improvements in the recruiting lifecycle, focusing on efficiency, candidate experience, and data integrity.
Hands-on Recruiting
High-Priority Requisitions : Personally manage and close senior, niche, or business-critical roles, leveraging your expertise in complex hiring.Stakeholder Partnership : Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and VPs, providing market intelligence, status updates, and consulting on hiring decisions.Sourcing Innovation : Drive the adoption of innovative sourcing techniques and tools to build sustainable talent pipelines.Reporting & Metrics
Performance Analysis : Monitor team and individual recruiter performance against key metrics (time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, pipeline conversion) and provide data-driven insights.Budget Management : Assist in the management of vendor relationships, recruitment budgets, and resource allocation.What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)
5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 1-2 years in a formal Team Lead or Managerial role within Talent Acquisition.Must have-B.Tech / BCA / MCA / MS-Physics.Extensive experience managing recruitment for the Indian market is mandatory, covering diverse geographies and functional roles (ideally a mix of IT and non-IT).Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of recruiters to consistently meet and exceed targets.Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and proficiency in using recruitment metrics to drive decisions.Strong command of modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, specialist job boards, etc.).Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.Why Join Us?
