The Job

SAP Solution Architect – GTS to S / 4HANA ITM Migration

Location : Remote (Applicant can operate from anywhere in India) - UK Shift Timing

Duration : 6 Months contract – Extendable.

NOTE : This project is a migration from GTS (Global Trade Service) to S / 4 ITM (International Trade Management) so my client will need GTS / ITM / INTRASTAT-related skills to qualify for this role.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead the migration from SAP GTS 11 to S / 4HANA International Trade Management (ITM)
  • Analyze existing GTS processes and map them to ITM functionalities
  • Design solution architecture and migration roadmaps for global clients
  • Customize and enhance ITM features based on client requirements
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams for successful data conversion (licenses, classifications, etc.)
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide expert guidance
  • Support greenfield S / 4HANA ITM implementations, primarily for European operations

    • The Profile

    Candidate Requirements :

  • Minimum 10 years of SAP experience, including 5+ years in SAP GTS
  • Hands-on experience with S / 4HANA International Trade (ITM)
  • Strong knowledge of compliance management, license handling, INTRASTAT, and classification processes
  • Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, including greenfield ITM projects
  • Familiarity with enhancement techniques like BAdIs, user exits, and custom developments
  • Understanding of SAP technical components such as ABAP, FIORI, and integration tools
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
