About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Bangalore.

This critical role will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, providing the financial insights and strategic foresight necessary to drive profitability and operational efficiency across global functions.

You will be instrumental in the annual planning, forecasting, and performance reporting Responsibilities

  • Budgeting & Forecasting : Lead the annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts (quarterly / monthly) for key functional areas (e.g., Technology, G&A), ensuring accuracy and challenging assumptions.
  • Advanced Financial Modeling : Design, build, and maintain complex financial models (e.g., 3-statement models, DCF analysis) to evaluate new business initiatives, capital expenditures, and strategic investments.
  • Performance Reporting & Analysis : Conduct in-depth variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget / Forecast), identifying key drivers, and presenting actionable insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Strategic Business Partnership : Act as a trusted financial advisor to non-finance business heads, translating complex financial results into clear, concise business narratives.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and implement improvements in financial systems, reporting tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis : Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for the CFO and Board, supporting critical decision-making on operational and strategic Skills & Qualifications
  • Education : MBA in Finance (full-time from a top-tier institute) is mandatory.
  • A professional certification like CFA, CPA, or CA is a significant advantage.
  • Experience : 5-7 years of progressive experience in an FP&A, Corporate Finance, or highly analytical role, preferably within a large multinational or high-growth technology company.
  • Technical Expertise : Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel (VBA, pivot tables, advanced formulas) and strong experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and FP&A tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan).
  • Analytical Rigor : Proven ability to handle large, complex datasets and distill them into simplified, strategic conclusions.
  • Communication & Presentation : Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present financial data effectively to senior management.
  • Leadership : Demonstrated experience mentoring junior analysts and leading cross-functional projects
