New Product Development & PE Manager [Immediate Start]

We're seeking an experienced New Product Development Manager to lead the development of New Products and Solutions for our Iron Casting Foundry and Machine Shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying customer requirements, process improvement opportunities, developing products , and managing cross-functional teams to bring new products in production and start bulk supplies to the customer. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Process Review and Improvement + Mfg. Cost Reduction Opportunity Identification :

• Conduct Process Review to identify opportunities for Improvement + Mfg. Cost Reduction Opportunity Identification and solutions.
• Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS :

Review the 2D drawings, 3D models & Standards from Customer for New Projects.

Method layout and design of Gating System & Trimming dies.

Responsible to maintain ECR and ECN change management.

Rejection control & productivity improvements.

Checking of all APQP, PPAP, & IATF- 16949 related documentation.

To design & develop products as per customer requirement.

2D drawing, drafting & 3D modeling of new & existing parts.

Work for cost reduction new and existing projects.

Requirements :

Preferred Qualifications :

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience in design of tooling for HPMLs like Disa Flex-70, HWS-Sinto, No-Bake, Arpa 300 / 450 & Shell Molding.

Ability to Prepare of Casting RFQ, Costing and Technical feasibility review with customer.

New Product Design & Development as per customer requirement.

Tool Design, electrode design, Mold Design, Pattern, Core Box & Loose pieces.

Methoding, Gating design Calculation & Casting Simulation, for GCI & SGI Castings.

Proto-type parts development as per customer requirement.

Technical Review & Regular Meetings with Customer.

Yield Improvement & VA-VE.

Reverse engineering in customer 3D model and get design approval from customer.

Conversant with Software Skills for 2D, 3D & Simulations as mentioned below.
