About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechatronics / CAD Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of precision-engineered systems and products. You will take concepts from initial sketches through to 3D CAD models, prototypes, and production-ready designs — ensuring structural integrity, functionality, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and structural components from concept to production.
• Perform structural calculations, weight distribution, and center of gravity assessments to ensure design performance.
• Select appropriate materials and finishes (e.g., aluminum alloys, carbon fiber, polymers, composites) based on functional and manufacturing requirements.
• Design and specify fixtures, fittings, fasteners, and mounting solutions .
• Create and maintain detailed CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks, OnShape, or similar 3D CAD tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electronics, systems, manufacturing) to ensure seamless product integration.
• Optimize designs for prototyping, 3D printing, and fabrication processes.
• Deliver well-finished, production-ready designs that balance form, function, and manufacturability
