The Role
1. Business Development and Client Relationship Management
- Managing relationship with top client executives
- Lead the meetings with existing and new clients – explaining various service offerings of the Firm, understand client business plans and suggest relevant service offerings
- Identify potential opportunities that can be taken up with existing and new clients
- Client expectation management in respect of assignments, deliverables, timelines, etc.
- Participation in various seminars organized by industry associations for networking and establishing connects with new clients
- Managing the relationship with various trade bodies / industry associations for potential leads Delivering technical / marketing presentations at various forums
- Contributing to news articles, newsletters, etc
2. Expert Knowledge in Direct Taxation
Experience in international, domestic and digital taxation advisory, compliance and assessment / appeal related servicesEntry strategy for foreign companies in IndiaApplication of Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement provisions to the foreign companies earning income in IndiaAnalyzing complex issues in client specific situations involving issues regarding residency, permanent establishment, capital gains, fees for technical services, royalty, dependent / independent personal services and such other concepts in international taxationTax issues relating to turnkey / EPC contractsDue diligence / Health checkReview of various types of contracts.Ideal Profile
Qualifications :
