We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic consultant to the business units driving SBM Offshore's True. Blue. Transition. This role requires a Result Driven mindset, exceptional Influencing skills, and a proven track record in Business Partnering complex, technical teams.
The HRBP will leverage deep expertise in Workforce Planning, Organizational Change, and Analytics to drive people strategies that directly enable business progress, enhance the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and ensure rigorous compliance with global Labour Law.
Job Description :
Strategic Business Partnering and Organization Development :
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating the strategic goals of the "True. Blue. Transition" (Advancing our Core and Pioneering More) into actionable, high-impact Workforce Planning and talent strategies.
- Lead and facilitate major Organization Change and Development initiatives, ensuring change readiness, communication effectiveness, and sustained adoption during restructuring or new market entry.
- Drive the People Engagement strategy by analyzing engagement drivers, co-creating action plans with management, and embedding a high-performance culture aligned with SBM's "True. Blue." values.
- Oversee performance management, talent review, and Succession Planning processes for assigned client groups, ensuring a robust pipeline of future technical and leadership talent.
Talent, Learning, and Analytics :
Collaborate with the global Total Rewards team to ensure the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) remains competitive and compelling to attract and retain top technical talent in deepwater and blue economy domains.Identify critical skill gaps related to the energy transition and partner with Learning and Development (L&D) specialists to design and implement targeted training programs (e.g., in decarbonization, ocean infrastructure).Utilize HR Analytics and Reporting to provide data-driven insights on talent trends, attrition, diversity metrics, and organizational health, proactively identifying areas for strategic HR intervention.Lead the local implementation of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives, ensuring equitable talent practices and fostering an inclusive environment across engineering and operational teams.Compliance and Operational Excellence :
Ensure absolute compliance with local and international Labour Law and regulatory requirements across all HR policies, procedures, and employee relation matters.Provide expert coaching and guidance to managers on complex employee relations issues, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions, mitigating legal and financial risk.Drive continuous improvement in HR operational processes, leveraging digital tools and technology to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of transactional HR support.Functional Competencies :
