Position : SAP Solution Architect – Finance

Industry : Airlines

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect - Finance with strong expertise in Central Finance (CFIN), FICA, and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) . The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Brownfield SAP Implementations , preferably within the Airlines industry . This role will be responsible for designing end-to-end finance solutions, integrating complex financial processes, and ensuring smooth migration to S / 4HANA Finance in a highly regulated and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the solution architecture for Finance workstreams in a large-scale SAP program.
Design, validate, and implement solutions in CFIN, FICA, and RAR aligned with industry best practices.
Drive the Brownfield implementation approach by assessing existing ECC systems and designing optimal transition strategies to S / 4HANA Finance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators to define requirements and provide scalable solutions.
Ensure solution design supports compliance with airline industry-specific regulatory and accounting standards.
Provide thought leadership on SAP Finance capabilities and roadmap planning.
Oversee integration with upstream and downstream systems, ensuring data consistency and process automation.
Guide and mentor functional consultants and ensure alignment to architectural standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

15+ years of experience in SAP Finance solutions.

Proven expertise in SAP Central Finance (CFIN) , FICA , and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) modules.

Hands-on experience in Brownfield S / 4HANA implementations , preferably in the airline industry or large-scale global environments.

Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes including intercompany, revenue recognition, and settlement processes .

Experience in integration of SAP Finance with logistics, billing, and external systems.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and present complex concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience in airline-specific finance processes , such as ticketing revenue accounting, interline settlement, or cargo finance.

SAP S / 4HANA Finance certification.

Experience with large-scale transformation programs and working with global teams.
