Reports to : Head of Strategy / Creative Director
Works Closely With : Account Planning, Creative (Copy & Art), Production, and AI / Performance Teams
About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Strategist who lives and breathes ideas — someone who can decode culture, understand people, and connect the two to brand purpose. At Mad Men Marketing , you’ll be the thinking partner behind every big idea — helping our teams craft campaigns that don’t just sell, but shape conversations.
This is not a data-heavy or theoretical strategy role — it’s hands-on, creative, and collaborative. You’ll turn insights into ideas, ideas into campaigns, and campaigns into business impact across our diverse set of brands including Dabur, Haldiram’s, Bikanervala, Emami , and more.
Key Responsibilities
🎯 1. Brand & Consumer Insighting
- Deep-dive into category, audience, and cultural trends to uncover sharp insights.
- Translate client briefs into creative territories, tone, and campaign directions.
- Develop brand narratives, personas, and positioning frameworks that guide creative teams.
🧠 2. Creative Thinking & Concept Development
Partner with Copy, Art, and Production to co-create ideas that are strategically sound and creatively bold.Build campaign narratives, presentation decks, and pitch strategies that inspire clients and teams alike.Challenge the creative team with provocations and lateral insights to elevate the work.🔍 3. Communication Strategy
Design content and media strategies aligned to modern audience behavior — reels, influencer collabs, AI-driven storytelling, etc.Collaborate with digital and performance teams to connect creative strategy with measurable business outcomes.Ensure every campaign idea ties back to the brand’s core truth and consumer need.💬 4. Pitches, Presentations & Thought Leadership
Lead strategy sections in client presentations and new business pitches.Represent the agency’s strategic thinking in industry discussions, trend reports, and case studies.Work closely with senior leadership to refine the Madverse strategic philosophy — a blend of creativity, data, and AI insight.Who You Are
5–9 years in brand strategy, creative planning, or campaign strategy roles.Experience in advertising / digital / influencer-led campaigns across FMCG, lifestyle, or youth brands.A natural storyteller with the ability to turn research and intuition into compelling creative direction.Comfortable working in fast-paced creative environments and leading pitches end-to-end.Fluent in culture, content, and consumer behavior — from memes to market reports.A strategic thinker who believes great ideas are built on strong insights.Why Join Mad Men Marketing
