Manager / Senior Manager- EHS Head [High Salary]

Job Responsibility :

1. He will be responsible for implementing the Health and Safety compliance and program for the site.

2. He will conduct health and safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with corrective and preventive measures. He will identify lagging and leading indicators and focus on improvement.

3. He will conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance.

4. Will spearhead health and safety improvements within the location by identifying conceptualizing and improvement projects related to health & safety

5. Accident and incident investigations will be recorded, reported, corrective measures will be implemented, and trends will be analyzed.

6. Compliance with the regulatory requirements of local government authorities.

7. Responsible for compliance of licenses / permissions pertaining to Health & Safety

8. Mange / coordinate the required audits of facilities and system to verify compliance with all existing Health and safety policies.

9. Conduct and review of Safety training. Ensure effectiveness of Safety Training at site and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates for effective training program.

10. To conduct planned and unplanned Safety inspection / Audit of the department of Site.

11. Create safety culture, spreading awareness to bottom level.

12. Improve the System for Near miss / Unsafe Condition / Unsafe Act reporting, Mock-drills, Departmental MIS Reporting.

13. Ensuring Inventory of maintain inventory of PPEs, firefighting equipment, and other Safety equipment. Supervision of each site activity and mange work permit system.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fire Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Certification in fire safety (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety, NFPA, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to conduct fire risk assessments and safety audits.
• Physical fitness to perform inspections and emergency response duties.
