Key Responsibilities :
Designing and Implementing Data Solutions : Architecting and building end-to-end data solutions on Azure, leveraging Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure services.Data Pipeline Development : Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Databricks, ensuring seamless data integration and processing.Performance Optimization : Optimizing Spark jobs for performance and cost-efficiency within Databricks clusters.Security and Governance : Implementing and maintaining security controls, ensuring compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.Collaboration and Communication : Collaborating with stakeholders, including data analysts, scientists, and business users, to understand requirements and provide technical support.Mentorship and Leadership : Providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members in multiple pods.Data Engineering Expertise : Proficiency in data modelling, data warehousing, data integration, and ETL / ELT processes.Cloud Computing Knowledge : Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as code, serverless computing, and containerization.DevOps Practices : Familiarity with DevOps principles, version control (e.g., Git), and CI / CD pipelines.Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyse complex problems, develop creative solutions, and troubleshoot issues.Communication and Collaboration : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.(ref : hirist.tech)
