Data Engineer

Position Details

  • Role : Data Engineer
  • Experience : 5 + yrs
  • Work Mode : First week in office, Remote / Hybrid
  • Locations : Trivandrum (Primary), Kochi (Secondary)
  • Budget : ₹9.6L – ₹14L
  • Notice Period : Immediate joiners
  • Working Hours : Normal shift
  • Joining Date : 27 October 2025

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain ETL pipelines for multiple source systems (SAP, Korber WMS, OpSuite ePOS, internal BI).
  • Design & implement SSIS workflows , including staging, data quality rules, and CDC logic .
  • Collaborate with DBA on schema design, indexing, and performance tuning (SQL Server 2019 / 2022).
  • Build reusable scripts & components for data loading, transformation, and validation.
  • Perform unit testing, documentation, and version control using GitLab / Jenkins CI / CD.
  • Align data models with reporting needs by collaborating with backend developers and analysts.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve data-related issues during development and post-deployment.

    • Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–6 years in Data Engineering / ETL Development
  • Hands-on SSIS, SQL Server 2019 / 2022, T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, CDC
  • ETL development for ERP / Warehouse systems (SAP preferred)
  • Dimensional modeling – star schema, SCD2
  • Experience with SAP, WMS, POS, retail systems
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks, staging strategies, workflow orchestration
  • Familiar with CI / CD for data workflows (GitLab, Jenkins)
  • Exposure to AI code accelerators for development tasks
