About the Role We are looking for an SAP ABAP development expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) to lead the design, development, and delivery of technical solutions. The role requires a mix of hands-on ABAP programming skills and the ability to manage projects, stakeholders, and a small team of consultants. The ideal candidate will ensure solutions are aligned with global trade compliance requirements while driving system efficiency and innovation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ABAP solutions in SAP GTS (compliance, customs, preference, and embargo modules).
• Manage a team of ABAP developers / consultants, providing technical direction, reviews, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Develop and review ABAP programs, BADIs, BAPIs, enhancements, IDocs, RFCs, forms (SmartForms / Adobe).
• Ensure smooth integration of SAP GTS with ECC / S4HANA and external systems (customs, logistics providers, sanction list services).
• Drive performance tuning, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.
• Stay updated on SAP GTS upgrades, S / 4HANA migrations, and ABAP innovations (OData, CDS Views, Fiori / UI5).
• Establish best practices for coding standards, documentation, and quality assurance.
