Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder specializing in IPDRG to join our healthcare team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience in medical coding, with a strong focus on inpatient coding and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical documentation to assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures in accordance with IPDRG guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with coding policies and regulations, including national and local coding guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of coded data and provide reports as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies in coding and documentation.
- Stay updated with changes in coding practices and regulations, especially in relation to IPDRG.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of coded information.
