Job description

Job title : Principal AI Architect

Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai

Experience : 12 to 15 Years

Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal AI Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions with a strong focus on Generative AI (GenAI) , Agentic AI frameworks , and Python-based development . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving AI strategy, defining technical architecture, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • AI Strategy & Architecture
  • Define and own the AI architecture vision, aligning with business objectives and future technology trends.
  • Architect scalable AI / ML platforms leveraging GenAI models, LLMs, and Agentic AI frameworks .
  • Drive innovation in autonomous AI agents, multi-agent collaboration, and knowledge-driven systems .
  • Solution Design & Development
  • Lead design of end-to-end AI solutions including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Evaluate, fine-tune, and integrate LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, etc.) into enterprise systems.
  • Build and optimize agentic workflows for automation, reasoning, and decision-making.
  • Ensure secure, ethical, and responsible AI practices across all solutions.
  • Technical Leadership
  • Guide teams on Python-based AI / ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face).
  • Mentor data scientists, ML engineers, and solution architects.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to align AI adoption strategy.
  • Innovation & Research
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), and multi-modal AI .
  • Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and vendors for enterprise adoption.
  • Drive PoCs and innovation initiatives to assess business value of AI-driven solutions.

Required Skills :

  • Experience (12–15 years) in AI / ML, software engineering, and solution architecture , with at least 4–5 years in leadership / architectural roles .
  • Strong expertise in Python and AI / ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
  • Proven experience with GenAI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMA, Mistral, etc.) – fine-tuning, prompt engineering, model integration.
  • Hands-on experience in Agentic AI frameworks, autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration .
  • Deep understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) , vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus), and knowledge graphs.
  • Experience in cloud-based AI platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI).
  • Solid grasp of MLOps, CI / CD pipelines, model governance, and monitoring .
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems .
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

    • Desired Skills :

  • Experience with multi-modal AI (text, image, video, speech).
  • Exposure to enterprise-grade AI security, compliance, and responsible AI frameworks .
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications .
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI / ML, Data Science, or related field .
