About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer who brings deep backend development expertise, a strong command of AWS services, and the ability to architect and build scalable, serverless cloud applications.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Node.js and Type Script , with hands-on experience across the AWS serverless stack and exposure to Auth0 for identity management. While the focus is backend-heavy, a flexible approach and willingness to contribute to frontend tasks will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using AWS cloud-native and serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, etc.).

Build and maintain robust, secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

Implement authentication and authorization flows using Auth0.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build end-to-end solutions.

Ensure reliability, security, and performance of backend systems.

Handle API / service integrations and contribute to frontend development when required (React / Angular / Vue).

Apply Dev Ops best practices : CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure automation , and monitoring.

Diagnose and resolve performance and scalability issues across the cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of software development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering.

Proven experience with AWS cloud services , especially serverless architecture.

Advanced proficiency in Node.js and Type Script.

Experience in developing REST APIs and microservices.

Solid understanding and hands-on usage of Auth0 (identity and access management).

Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).

Knowledge of Dev Ops practices , CI / CD pipelines, Docker / Kubernetes (nice to have).

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have

AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Solutions Architect).

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.

Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments.
