Job Summary :
Work on the Versa infrastructure hosted for the customer business environment. Change Management
Engineer must have good experience in handling Network (Routing / Switching) , Security (Firewall / IPS /
IDS), ISP Services and Cloud (VMware / KVM, AWS / Azure / GCP)
Change Management Engineer’s primary role is to plan, test and implement configuration / software
upgrade related changes for the customer infrastructure.
Educational Qualification :
B.E / B.Tech or higher degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
Professional Qualification :
Advanced Routing / switching skills / CCNP / CCIE skills or equivalent level of experience.
Versa certification will be highly preferred (SD-WAN Associate / SD-WAN Specialist)
EXPERIENCE :
4-6 years of hands-on experience.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Experience in planning, testing and implementing changes in a complex network environment.Troubleshooting complex network infrastructure issues.Replicate planned change scenarios in the lab environment.Work with the engineering team to replicate customer issues and test possible fixes.Work on problems of diverse scope across all solutions from VersaIncident / ticket / Change Management lifecycle managementGood understanding of the ITIL Change Management process.Ability to write bash / python scripts (optional)Experience in managing, supporting, and deploying network infrastructures.Good understanding of virtualization, SaaS, IaaS and related technologies.Understanding of common information architecture frameworks.Excellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasksand projects with minimal supervision.
Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to address conflict with othersconstructively.
Commitment to customer delight is a must.Quality-focused, result and goal-orientated person.Debugging hardware & software system-level problems in a multi-vendor multi-protocol networkenvironment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS :
ROUTING, OSPF & BGP, MPLS, L3 VPN – expert levelTCP / IP protocol suite, SFW, NGFWGood understanding of IPSec VPN / SSL-VPN / NAT / GRE.Experience in handling perimeter security, endpoint security, web and email security is a plus.Working knowledge of Linux / Unix environment.The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor who is a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal,communication, problem-solving solving and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrate an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, evidenced by the ability toexpand upon core knowledge.
