Job description

We are hiring an experienced, on-site Senior .NET Developer in India to design, implement and maintain backend systems and APIs that power operational applications and integrations across the flight operations lifecycle.

Primary title (recommended) : Senior .NET Developer

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core to meet high availability and low-latency SLAs.
Build and evolve microservices, implement robust data access layers using Entity Framework and optimize SQL Server performance and queries.
Own end-to-end feature delivery : requirements analysis, design, implementation, unit testing, documentation and production support on-site.
Implement CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins), containerize services with Docker, and support automated deployments and rollbacks.
Collaborate closely with product owners, QA, DevOps and UX teams in Agile / Scrum ceremonies to drive quality and timely releases.
Perform code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, profile applications for performance, and mentor mid-level engineers.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

4+ years professional experience in C# and .NET development (ASP.NET Core preferred).

Strong experience with Web API design, RESTful services, and integration patterns (OAuth / JWT, APIs).

Solid SQL Server experience (T‑SQL), ORM experience with Entity Framework and data modelling skills.

Hands-on with microservices, Docker containerisation and basic orchestration concepts.

Practical experience with CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Git-based workflows), unit testing (xUnit / NUnit) and automated tests.

On-site work eligibility in India and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred

Experience with Azure services (App Services, SQL DB, Storage, AD) or other cloud platforms.

Knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies (Redis), and async / parallel processing.

Exposure to event-driven architectures, message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka) and monitoring / observability tooling.
