Job description

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 7-10 years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data analytics roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Alation or similar enterprise data catalog platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica EDC, Atlan).
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to query, analyze, and validate large datasets.
  • Familiarity with ETL / ELT pipelines and data engineering concepts.
  • Proven experience translating technical data logic into business-consumable language .
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams involving business, data engineering, and analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Understanding of data lineage, data quality , and data privacy concepts.
  • Exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and how they integrate with data catalogs.
  • Knowledge of metadata standards (e.g., business glossary, technical metadata, usage metadata).
