Cloud Architect

Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer or Cloud Architect to support our client in assessing application cloud readiness and driving hands-on migration to

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, modernization strategies, and GCP services.

Key Responsibilities :

Assess existing applications for cloud suitability and readiness.

Recommend appropriate migration strategies :

Rehost, Replatform, Refactor .

Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions on GCP.

Provide technical leadership and guidance on GCP services and architecture.

Optimize cloud usage for performance and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application Owners.

Document migration plans, architecture decisions, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Proven hands-on experience with

GCP services

(e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).

Strong understanding of

cloud architecture , application modernization, and microservices.

Experience with

cloud migration tools

(e.g., Velostrata, Migrate for Compute Engine, Transfer Appliance).

Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go).

Familiarity with

CI / CD pipelines , Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).

Knowledge of

security best practices

and compliance in cloud environments.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
