Job Description :

Role : Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power Bi with 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that deliver actionable insights, improve decision-making, and enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Report Development & Visualization :

Design and create compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using SSRS, Power BI, and other BI tools.
Translate business requirements into intuitive and interactive reporting solutions.
Ensure reports are scalable, responsive, and optimized for Development :
Write and optimize complex SQL / T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract,

transform, and analyze data.

Utilize advanced SQL concepts such as Joins, CTEs, Window Functions, Set Operators, Temp

Tables (Local & Global), and Performance Tuning.

Implement queries to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency, including identifying

and removing & Data Governance :

Work closely with data engineers and data analysts to ensure smooth data integration and

transformation processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide tailored reporting solutions.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and best practices across reporting Optimization & Maintenance :

Continuously optimize existing reports and dashboards for speed, accuracy, and user

experience.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for all reporting processes, standards, and best Skills & Experience :

Experience : 3 - 8 years in BI development, reporting, or data visualization roles.

Core Skills :

T-SQL / PL-SQL

SSRS Paginated Reports

Power BI

SAP BI (preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and

non-technical & Technical Expertise :

Power BI :

Data integration techniques and scheduled data refresh.

Data governance, security, and role-based access control.

Active & inactive relationships in data models.

Advanced filtering techniques.

Proficiency in DAX functions, including :

CALCULATE, SUMX, AVERAGEX

Time Intelligence (e.g., YTD)

Filter Functions, Text Functions, Logical Functions (e.g., AND), Date & Time Functions (e.g., :

Key components of SSRS paginated reports.

Creating and managing report parameters.

Implementing best practices for report development and parameter handling.

Managing report performance and execution time.

SQL :

Strong knowledge of DML & DDL operations.

Understanding of Primary Key, Unique Key, Foreign Key constraints.

Expertise in Types of Joins, Aggregate Functions, String Functions.

Proficiency in Set Operators, Window Functions, CTEs, and Temp Tables (Local & Global).

SQL performance tuning for efficiency and optimization.

Ability to write queries that detect and resolve data redundancy.

Experience in generating insights such as record counts based on joins and trend analysis.
