Wipro CEO Communications Manager The CEO Communications manager will work closely with internal and external communications leaders to manage all aspects of CEO communications – including employee communications, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and social media. The CEO Comms manager is an experienced communications professional and strong writer who enjoys partnering directly with a senior executive to create a communications platform and strategy that allows the OCEO to achieve its strategic objectives. This communications manager will be a trusted partner to the Office of the CEO and responsible for working with internal and external communications leaders in developing the CEO’s communications strategy and content. This person will combine a deep understanding of current technology and business trends, as well as the issues challenging the IT services industry, to build thought-leading content and drive execution excellence that result in measurable positive outcomes (measured in employee engagement, effective change management, ongoing positive social media presence, as well as strategic media placements). This role reports to the Global Head of External Communications. In addition to the CEO immediate team and the extended communications and marketing teams, the manager of CEO Communications will partner closely with Wipro’s top leadership team on a daily basis. Roles & Responsibilities : Responsibilities : Developing and executing CEO communications strategy and plan. Overseeing content for all CEO employee communications, including town hall meetings, written content, and other channels used for engaging with Wipro’s 230,000+ employees. Writing speeches and talking points for external events and public engagements. Drafting concise yet thorough briefing materials used to prepare the CEO for engagements. Driving proactive external engagement with key opinion leaders that expand the CEO’s network and support broader Wipro business objectives. Partnering closely with head of External Communications team to drive a sustained CEO media program. Elevating CEO’s voice on specific topics aligned with Wipro’s strategy, including AI-led innovation, digital transformation, talent development, and diversity through mix of speaking engagements and published written pieces. Overseeing CEO social media strategy, with focus on leveraging platforms to drive engagement across priority audiences and topics. Partnering closely with Wipro GBL business and marketing teams on all partner and customer engagements requiring corporate communications support. Building and maintaining relationships with other members of the Wipro leadership team to inform CEO communications strategy and content. Implementing processes that drive long-term planning, high-quality content gathering, and rigorous execution across all aspects of CEO communications. Manage external agency supporting strategic CEO communications and content. Qualifications : Qualifications : At least 10-12 years of communications leadership experience. Significant executive communications experience. A great writer, with experience spanning speech writing, messaging and talking points. Strong executive presence that inspires trust and confidence. Strategic thinker with a strong grasp on global issues, current events and business trends. Sound judgement, with the ability to balance short- and long-term priorities in a disciplined manner. A good understanding of the public policy landscape and implications for global companies. Experience managing an executive’s social media presence. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and calmly adapts to change when needed. Experience effectively managing relationships in a matrixed organization across different reporting lines and working with external agency partners to maximize impact.
