Job Role : Engineering Manager

Department : Technology

Location : Gurgaon

Mon- Fri (Work from Office)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering organization, drive modernization efforts, and define the architectural direction of our platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to guide teams through large-scale legacy-to-modern tech migrations, while ensuring cost-effective, scalable Cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team aligned with product and business goals.
  • Own system architecture and modernization strategy, including large-scale migrations.
  • Drive Cloud infrastructure design, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Establish engineering best practices, processes, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and reliable product delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor team members across engineering levels

Tech Stack Required :

  • Familiarity with the company core tech stack : PHP, Python, Node.js, React, SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure at scale
  • Experience leading or contributing to overall cloud management and optimization (performance, scalability, reliability, and cost)
  • Exposure to system redesign, refactoring, or legacy modernization projects
  • Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
  • Previous experience mentoring engineers or team leads

    • Candidate Profile :

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 4+ years in an engineering management or tech leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading modernization efforts involving large-scale system migrations.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, infrastructure planning, and cost management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance engineering teams.
