Manager Portfolio Management (Generic Formulations and API)

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Identify & select new products and manage the cross-functional evaluation of these products including patent reviews, technical evaluations, and commercial assessments.

Develop business cases through collaboration with technical, regulatory, IP and commercial. Fully understand business case drivers, including competitive landscape, clinical requirements, and other potential external factors which may impact valuation.

Conduct high-level portfolio overviews and make recommendations on project priorities based on NPV’s and time-to-market.

Prepare summary recommendations for product opportunities and present to Executive Leadership Team and other Senior Management for approval.

Update portfolio information tools, reports and databases as new information becomes available.

Support portfolio re-prioritization initiatives for pipeline products.

Provide in-depth analysis on indications, trends, challenges, opportunities, and unmet medical needs. Lead efforts to gather and analyze market intelligence.

Basic Qualifications :

M.Pharm or PGDM / MBA

6-8 years of experience in Portfolio Management for both formulations and APIs. Prior experience in R&D or IPM is preferred but not mandatory.

Proficiency in preparing & Determining Pivots table, charts, Sales Forecasts, NPVs, IRRs, Revenue estimates in Excel.

Solid understanding of the global pharma markets, including commercial, patents and regulatory environment

Strong research & analytics, problem solving skills, and business acumen
