Responsible for roles that will typically be aligned to specific businesses or sectors. Individuals will generally either be located at and only support a specific site or project (including construction) or have a role that requires specific industry / business expertise or interaction with specific business customers. This category will include those EHS professionals involved in HSE performance and compliance..

As a Health Safety and Environment you will be responsible for :

Support the Operation Team with ensuring the full implementation and consistent execution of the Baker Hughes (EHS) programs and ensure compliance all applicable regulations.

Work closely with manufacturing facilities and other teams to provide EHS support mentoring and engagement.

Coordinate the closure of all findings and observations from audits and inspections.

Participate on accident investigation.

Conduct internal EHS inspections (i.e. hazardous waste areas housekeeping emergency response equipment etc.)

Provide general administrative and record-keeping support for all related regulatory records.

Maintain EHS equipment and associated documentation requirements (e.g. Training records injury logs waste manifests etc.)

Ensure data accuracy and on time tracking and submission of HSE metrics and reports

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will :

• Have 4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety
• Have an exposure in Manufacturing Oil & Gas background
• Have an ability to influence others and lead small teams
• Have an ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Have a proficiency in T amil (local language))
• Have a working exposure on Legal requirements
• Expertise on ISO standards
• Have NEBOSH Certification
• Have a good understanding of EHS-related laws and regulations.
• Have a go good problem identification and solution skills
