Job Description : Selenium Mobile Tester

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for mobile platforms using Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional QA teams to understand requirements and build effective test strategies.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; perform regression, exploratory, and performance testing to validate bug fixes and new features.
  • Manage mobile test environments, configure devices / emulators, and ensure test data reliability.
  • Provide detailed and accurate test reports, document processes and outcomes, and continuously improve testing infrastructure and best practices.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing for mobile apps.
  • Maintain manual test cases for critical scenarios and participate in user acceptance testing when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience in mobile automation testing using Selenium and Appium on Android and iOS devices.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages for test scripting (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestNG, Allure).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is a plus
