The Role

Brennan’s Cybersecurity Practice plays an essential role in Brennan’s overall business strategy. Having experienced significant growth over the past few years, the Practice is taking the next steps to support our next wave of market activity.

To achieve this we are seeking a talented Security Operations Specialist to join our Security Operations team. You will bring expertise and a can-do attitude to develop and deliver technical solutions that strengthen the cyber security posture of our clients.

At its core, the Security Operations Specialist is a technical role that delivers a range of network and cybersecurity services to the market in a project-based delivery methodology.

This role is also expected to provide thought leadership, guidance, and strategic advice to our customers on networking and cybersecurity matters, ensuring our customers deploy best-of-breed technology that appropriately serves their networking and cybersecurity needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery and assessment of customer environments to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for Secure Gateway adoption.
• Design and implement secure, scalable architectures across SASE, SSE, and network security platforms (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Netskope, Checkpoint).
• Develop clear documentation artefacts, including solution designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Deliver system changes, upgrades, and new deployments across customer network security stacks.
• Provide guidance on industry best practices, zero-trust principles, and governance-compliant solutions.
• Apply automation and scripting to streamline operations, deployments, and policy management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and certifications aligned with Brennan’s Secure Gateway strategy.
