Job Title : Packaging Executive Procurement

Role Purpose :

Responsible for sourcing, developing, evaluating, and optimizing packaging materials and suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, regulatory compliance, and timely availability of packaging items required for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of packaging materials such as cartons, labels, shrink wraps, trays, containers, and related consumables.
• Identify and evaluate packaging suppliers; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements.
• Work closely with Production, R&D, and Quality teams to finalize packaging specifications and ensure compliance with product standards.
• Conduct vendor capability assessments, supplier audits, and performance reviews to ensure quality and delivery adherence.
• Analyze market trends and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and cost optimization.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse / logistics teams to maintain required stock levels and avoid shortages.
• Develop and maintain packaging BOM (Bill of Materials) and ensure accuracy of procurement data in ERP systems.
• Support packaging trials, testing, and approval processes for new products or design changes.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, shipment delays, and document compliances.
• Ensure sustainability, waste reduction, and adherence to environmental guidelines in packaging materials.
