Job description

Job Role : Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor

Position Summary : GITAM University, Bengaluru Campus, is seeking a dynamic and

dedicated individual to join the Mechanical Engineering department as a Professor /

Associate Professor / Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will demonstrate

excellence in teaching, research, and service, with a focus on Robotics & AI, Digital

Manufacturing & Automotive Engineering.

Responsibilities :

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mechanical engineering.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program in a specific research area.
  • Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Engage in service activities within the department, university, and professional

community.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and assessment efforts.

    • Qualifications :

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

    • Desired Skill Set :

  • Prior teaching experience at the university level.
  • Record of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Professional engineering licensure.
