Visual Effects Artist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and creative FX Artist to design and create high-quality visual effects for our projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of timing, motion, and visual storytelling, with expertise in producing realistic simulations and dynamic effects.

Key Responsibilities :

Create visually stunning particle effects, simulations, and dynamic visuals such as fire, smoke, explosions, water, dust, and magical effects.

Collaborate with the animation, lighting, and compositing teams to ensure seamless integration of FX elements into final shots.

Develop custom tools and scripts to improve FX production efficiency.

Work closely with supervisors to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.

Maintain consistent quality and meet production deadlines.

Troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to effects and simulations.

Stay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and trends in VFX.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Animation, VFX, Computer Graphics, or a related field.

Proven experience as an FX Artist in film, animation, or gaming.

Strong knowledge of Houdini, Maya, Blender, or similar software.

Proficiency in particle systems, dynamics, fluids, and cloth simulations.

Experience with rendering engines like Arnold, Redshift, or Mantra.

Basic scripting knowledge (Python, MEL, or VEX) is a plus.

Strong artistic sense, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
