Solution Architect

Responsibilities :

• Solution Design and Development : Design comprehensive application solutions that address business needs and challenges. This involves creating architectural designs that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Technology Selection : Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for application development projects, considering factors such as performance, scalability, security, and integration capabilities.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and Digital teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure that the proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technology standards.
• Initiatives & CI / CD Oversight : Provide technical leadership throughout the development life cycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support. Guide development teams to ensure adherence to architectural designs and best practices.
• Integration Architecture : Design and oversee the integration of new applications with existing systems and software, ensuring seamless operation and data consistency across the enterprise.
• Performance Optimization : Ensure application solutions are optimized for performance and user experience. Conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements.
• Compliance and Security : Ensure application architectures comply with relevant regulations and standards. Incorporate security measures into the design to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Documentation : Create detailed documentation for application architectures, including design specifications, integration patterns, and deployment guidelines.
• Collaboration : Work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units.
• Continuous Learning : Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise.
• Innovation : Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities.
• Reporting : Regularly report on initiative progress and outcomes / value to your Capability Lead and team members.
• Problem-Solving : Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and deliver effective solutions.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.
• Participate and collaborate with the users, business analyst, quality assurance / quality control analyst in the gathering of user requirements and specifications
• Participate and conduct feasibility study, research and development, prototyping and proof of concept (PoC) in implementing new / existing systems, solutions and processes
• Participate in the technical and project documentation such as but not limited to functional, system and technical design, requirements and specifications
• Working Knowledge on integration methodologies, patterns, best practices, adapters, open connectors Proficiency in development tools (NWDS, ESR, IB, IS Web UI)
• Lead architecture design workshops and build / integrate / deploy state-of-the-art architecture for SAP applications on SAP BTP Cloud
• Develop and review codes, programs and configurations to verify consistency and conformance with established programming and industry standards, guidelines, policies and practices
• Conduct incident and problem analysis, data gathering, investigation and resolution of issues, and provide technical consultancy, assistance and support
• Deliver the required systems / applications / solutions on time and based on agreed budget and specifications
• Identify, assess and recommend opportunities for application and process improvement
• Provide regular and effective progress updates to the project manager / team lead / supervisor / immediate manage
• Perform detailed design, Configure, Build integration and technical architecture components of applications and systems
