Exploration Geologist

Main Purpose :

To provide integrated geological insights and regional framework understanding for conventional reservoirs by leveraging multidisciplinary geoscientific data. The role supports exploration and development through robust subsurface analysis and collaboration across geoscience functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide a detailed and focused regional geological framework understanding using all available data including geological field data, geochemical data, seismic data and other relevant data
• The role holder is required to integrate different sets of geoscientific data to perform reservoir architecture analysis and characterization studies
• Review relevant scientific literature;
• Review existing plate tectonic model;

Interpret geological and geophysical maps

Generate tectonic element maps, Thickness maps, gravity -Magnetic maps and crustal architecture maps for aiding reservoir characterization
