About role-

We are a dynamic third-party logistics technology company committed to providing top-notch transportation solutions for our network. We seek a highly skilled Senior Developer with expertise in PHP and some Java experience to join our team to support and refactor our legacy platform in 2026. The ideal candidate has tremendous experience debugging PHP legacy code and refactoring legacy monolithic applications to modern codebase. You will be a part of a full-stack remote team that is responsible for all aspects of the innovative software development from the initial specification, all the way through to developing, testing and launching.

Responsibilities

• Support and Maintenance : Provide ongoing support for our legacy PHP platform, ensuring its stability and performance.
• Refactoring : Lead the refactoring efforts to improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Code Reviews : Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of the codebase and refactoring efforts.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues in the legacy system promptly.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver robust software solutions that are distributed in India, USA, UK, and EU.
